The commitment, explained plainly

When you accept an appraisal you receive spending power against that item. From that moment it is committed: you keep it safe, in the condition you stated, until someone claims it.
Changing your mind
Before a claim, you can release an item by returning its credits or by substituting other items worth at least as much. After a claim, it is the claimant's.
If something goes wrong
Tell us first. An item that was stolen or broken is a problem we can work through; an item that silently vanishes is the one thing that gets accounts closed.
